Zulkifli Lukmansyah (born 8 September 2006) is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays for Persib Bandung in Super League. He is known primarily as a Right-back and winger.
Club career
Youth career
Zulkifli is a product of Persib Bandung’s academy, having honed his skills at SSB Jatira Bandung before moving to Persib’s youth setup. He progressed through Persib U16, U18, and U20 teams, showing standout performances in Elite Pro Academy competitions.
In EPA Liga 1 U18 2024/25, Zulkifli scored 3 goals in 3 matches. He continued his scoring form in the U20 league with 8 goals in 13 appearances.[1][2]
Persib Bandung
Zulkifli signed his first professional contract with Persib Bandung on 27 December 2024, agreeing to a three-year deal through December 2027.[3][1]
He was officially promoted to the senior squad for the second half of the 2024–25 season, earning praise from head coach Bojan Hodak for his rapid adaptation and technical potential.[4][5]
He made the matchday squad in three Liga 1 matches—including against PSM Makassar, Madura United, and Semen Padang and also featured in the 2025 Piala Presiden matches against Thailand club Port and Dewa United.[5]
In March 2025, Zulkifli suffered a rib injury during an internal club game and was hospitalized, though coach Hodak expressed optimism about a full recovery.[6]
Style of play
A versatile player, Zulkifli primarily plays as a right-back or winger. Persib coach Bojan Hodak described him as one of the best talents coming through the club’s academy, commending his adaptability, technical ability, and attacking instincts.[2][1] He has expressed eagerness to learn from senior teammates and improve his craft.[7]
