Nazriel Alfaro Syahdan (born 1 February 2008) is an Indonesian midfielder who plays for Persib Bandung and the Indonesia national under-17 football team.[1]
Club career
Nazriel is a graduate of the Persib Bandung youth academy and has risen through their ranks.[2] He made his senior debut in the Piala Presiden against Port FC on 6 July 2025, marking a significant milestone at just 17 years old.[3] His promotion is part of Persib's strategy to build a strong future foundation through internal youth development.[4]
International career
Nazriel represented Indonesia U-17 at the ASEAN U-16 Boys' Championship, playing in key matches against Singapore, Philippines, Laos, and Australia.[5] He was called up again for the AFC U-17 Asian Cup 2025 and helped the team qualify for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup.[6] In August 2025, Nazriel was summoned again for preparations ahead of the Piala Kemerdekaan 2025 tournament.[7]
Style of play
Nazriel is praised for his calm and mature playing style in midfield, strong work ethic, and composure under pressure—qualities likened to veteran Dedi Kusnandar and inspired by Andrés Iniesta.[8]
